Amp Died!! Replacement Suggestion??

To make a long story short the fx loop on my GK Backline 600 crapped out, sent it to the shop, $275 was the estimate, I guess there was more problems than I though (its a very reputable amp tech that I know would not rip me off) so Im in the market for a new or used amp. I had a GK1001rb and loved it, the Backline 600 suited my needs very well so Im unsure if I should just stick with GK or turn the chapter to a new amp company. The Hartke LH1000 sure does look appealing but can I get the famous GK growl out of the Hartke. Should I get new or used. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Sorry for rambling on, I just got the call from my amp tech and you guys are my go-to people. Money isnt really an issue but I would rather spend less than more.

Has to be other problems besides the effects loop then or you could just patch around it.

Not much outside of GK will give that certain growl. Plenty of amps give some character but not that certain growl of gk's effect. The Hartke I think runs pretty much warm but cleanish.

I wonder why GK never sold that growl effect in a pedal.

Here's exactly what you had for less than the price of repairing yours just up the road in Pittsburgh.

Or this baby if money is no biggie

Or a 400RB AND a cab for $550

And those 400RB's are efficient. They kill most 400W amps.
