amp eq settings for hollowbody bass

our local practice studio has these ampegs heads with eq's in them. i took pictures of the settings. i like the settings and my brother (the guitarist) liked my bass sound. if you have any suggestions, suggest it.

the cabnet is an ampeg 8x10. the bass is a gretsch g5123b, and no feed back problem.

i thought i had the ultra mid at 3 oclock, at least for most of the practice.

Low frequency cuts make sense. I don't get this much mid boost, on both EQs...

In my experience Hollowbod's tend to be a bit "boomy". So I would pay extra attention to the 150hz and 300hz spectrums. If your bass is too "boomy" in the room you are playing consider a cut here.

I am glad you found a sound that works for you. However, do not get hooked on those settings. Every stage you play on will sound different and one room's settings will not sound the same in another room.

You can also dial out some sub frequencies with a high pass filter. Your amp will run more effecient and it will tame a lot of the boominess that may cause some feedback issues.
