Well, crap. I guess I know what I need to do!

A hate to say this because I love the pedals, and have owned the B7K, VMTD, B3K VMT and Duality, but the amp *beats* them all by miles!! Its 900 watts at 4 0hm and more at 2 0hm(cant remember how much more?), it sounds perfect.

Literally the best gear investment I've ever made!! I put it in the rack case/Gator bag I used to have for my GK 800RB to keep her safe.

If you love the pedals you wont regret it, this amp is the best I'm telling you!! I wanna get a 2nd one as backup, thats how much I love this amp!!

It does that touch responsive tube amp thing perfect in VMT mode, sounds like a studio recording in B3K(I prefer VMT)

There is no reason whatsoever for a speakon input jack. Basses don't have speakon jacks, and plugging a cable in from another amp's output is a terrible idea.

Combo speakons are nice.

I'd like to have an all-tube amp that has a switchable power mode like some guitar amps. Like a 200W amp that switches to 100W and 50W or whatever the math has to be. It'd be great to be able to use the same amp in lower volume rehearsals and keep those settings when scaling up to a full gig.

Would also love to have a defeatable HPF on the back somewhere for those upright gigs, though there is likely not going to be a huge street march demanding that..

As an electric bass player I was actually introduced to the value of HPF's by an upright player after I commented on how much I liked his tone. Thankfully he was wiling to share one of his secret weapons.

Pre and post EQ DI, ground lift, -10db to -20db pad (for my active basses) and at minimum a parametric mid EQ.

I've never understood this term..."sweepable mids" What exactly does that mean to me and why is it so beneficial? Inquiring minds want to know.

To be able to adjust the center freq of a band you're trying to boost or cut. I've got a hankering for one of these ... parametric EQ on three bands (my Shuttle 6.0 only sweeps the mids). I like it because not only can you zero in on the center freq, but can adjust the Q (the band width of the filter) as well. My BIG acoustic basses can get some hard to tame wolf tones in the C#-F area (depending on the stage).
