+1 for the Coda/Clarus. Amazing for upright, has HPF and you can set separate EQs for each input.
I was extremely lucky to pick the combo up for $120. Not working at the time the seller sold it as parts. I changed the internal fuse.
That said - I still have a Markbass LM2 kicking about which I prefer for a straight EB gig. IMO if you're a cork-sniffer with your bass tone, an amp which covers both scenarios will still be a compromise (albeit a decent one).... So I guess it comes back to how fussy you are.
