Amp for my needs.

Hi all. I play P-bass with tone pot off. I love that "dark" sound. Which amp would you suggest me to get. My buget is 1000$. I prefer 1x12" combos.

I think P-bass with Ampeg is a great mix.

If I had a P-bass, I would probably end up with a 15" cab and an Ampeg 7pro or used SVT-CL.

Checkout the Mesa Walkabout Peggy-back combo - it's going to cost a little over your budget - but I think it will really give you the "low butter" you're looking for - also I'd up the cab to the 115 instead of the 112.
