I just bought a Warwick Thumb 6 string. I play metal and hard rock. What amp would be a perfect fit for the Thumb? I used to have an ashdown head but I was thinking darkglass and plug into my GK 410 RBH cab. Also looking for a new combo amp.
The Darkglass into a 410 would be great. I've had the M900 for years and love it for metal. There are tons of great bass amps on the market nowadays though. Pretty much anything from Aguilar, Bergantino, Genzler, GK, & Mesa would also be good.
Any bass rig you want is fine with me! So, you are looking for a live setup and a combo amp, correct? It might be simpler to get a bigger cab for stage and a smaller cab for anything lower volume. It would save you some money.
