This is a twin channel tube pre-amp I designed a few years back. The two neon rockers are power and standby. The power also switches the mains Socket on the back panel to control the power amp. First control on each channel is Gain. It controls two stages from a 12AX7 using a negative feedback loop. Next is Volume,Treble and bass. Next, two switches to mute each channel. The LED on the switch indicates the channel is active while the blue LED signifies that the output is enabled. Output comes from a cathode follower using both halves of a 12AT7 and that feeds the output transformer. This is a reverse connected Altec, made by Peerless, microphone input transformer. Two independent balanced 300Ω outputs XLR for DI and TRS for the power amp. it's completely point to point wired. Heaters fed with 6.2V DC via a five amp @ 5V TO3 regulator.
