I'm always a bit wary of amps that don't have many large capacitors. I know the technology has changed, but.....

Does anyone have a photo of the caps used in the old Acoustic 360?

Stained.. Would love to get a Rack Guts photo of your machine... Rack Guts count too !!

When i started this thread i was thinking that it would be cool to see amp guts and part.. Im a tech nerd...
.. But it also turned out to be helpful when some people are fixing stuff inside their rigs.. You get to see and explain where things are with photo diagrams....
So, rack Guts could be cool too.. To see how people route their wires and cable ties etc...

Here's a variation on the theme. Bad guts. An Impact by Status (rebranded Sound City), that has suffered a cap explosion filling it with weird fibers, followed by bad teching, putting totally wrong value capacitors in its place, and not cleaning up the exploded remains:

No I didn't , but I had the great luck of purchasing it the other night . It was built by a hobbiest that knew what he was doing , the chassis and box were made by some serious Trainwreck fans at TAG . It sounds amazing with a guitar , I actually haven't played bass through it yet , but later today I should be able to give it a romp .

Hello everybody! this is my first post(ok, second) in talkbass. Excuse my poor english, please. I want to show you a pair of vintage spanish tube amps of the brand Sinmarc, it means literally no-brand or without-brand. All the models of this brand are fender copies (bassman in this case), adapted to EL34.

Whoever welded up that chassis did a fabulous job. 10 gauge aluminum is not easy to work with.

Does anyone have a picture or wiring diagram of an Ampeg SVT-3PRO where I can make out how to re-attach the wires from the transformer and front power switch to the board? I tried taking pictures with my cell phone, but it messed the pics up so I can't make out how to hook them all up. PLEASE HELP!!!!!
