Amp stack

If you have a stack would you use a 4x10 and a 1x15 together or use a 1x15 and 1x15. The reason I ask I bought a 4x10 cab and a 1x15 cab they came together .So do I need to get rid of the 4x10 and get another 1x15 to match

Honestly you can use them together as long as it sounds good to you. I use the dreaded 410+115 mix and get by fine but you do want to keep an eye, or ear rather, on the 15. The 410 handles power more efficiently so the 15 will struggle with higher power loads and can blow out long before the 410 so keep an ear open for the 15 starting to fart out.

Even though I use a combination of the two the truth is I only have a mix match setup because of availability and price. I personally prefer the sound of the 15 and would like 2 of them but I can only find one used every so often and I never have the money for it. My 410 was $100 so it was hard to pass up.

My recommendation: If you absolutely need to use both cabs constantly then use both. If not find the one you like the sound of the most then sell the other and buy a matching cab.
