I think it is a really good price for a Marshall rig
The seller said the amp head is 900w, but I'm not sure about that - think it may be 900w @ 2ohms maybe and 500w @ 8ohms?

does anyone know anything about Marshall bass rigs that could help identify the wattage of the amp?

As far as I remember the head is capable to produce short term dynamics of appro 1200 Watt.
But this number of wattage is not something like RMS, never the less this dynamic transients can kill cabs/speakers.

So i'm thinking about getting an Acoustic 150b. Its rated at 110 watts continuous (old rating watts), and 240 watts peak music power. I heard that vintage amps have different watt ratings. Is this true? If so how many watts would the amp be in todays market?

Please start your own thread so as not to derail this one. It is just good manners, not a rule I suppose.

To the OP, the only two amps using the name "Dynamic Bass System" I could find were either 200W (RMS) or 400W. Either way, they should be plenty loud if that is what you are worried about. I would, however, get up with the seller and ask him where he came up with that rating. He is either misinformed or not telling the truth (or he has a model I couldn't find).
