Yep, looks like your amp really likes 4ohm cabs.

On your amp, a 4 ohm cab-(instead of an 8ohm) will get you an additional 200 watts.

Awww c'mon and get the 2x15 and a 8x10. Sell the GK, drop the G's for a vintage SVT and just sit back and admire the awesomeness!

I beg to differ. My Mesa diesel 2x15 has lots of mids and highs. Several 4x10s I have owned lack clarity. HArd to make generalizations based on speaker configuration. That said, I have not heard the ampeg 2x15 in question.

I'll vouch for the midrange on the Mesa 15's!

Buy it, run it with an 810 cab beside it at a 2 ohm load with a good ampeg tube amp, V4b, Svt, and miracles will happen. Women will be putty in your hands.
