Ampeg 410 w/ 810 sound?

I need a single small(er than an 810) cab for my SLM era SVT cl. I'm about to pull the trigger on 4 ohm sealed 410 from fliptops. I'll let you guys know how it works out in 3-4 weeks when I get it.

Guys, really? This has been discussed so many times. There should be a filter on here where, you have to log in a certain amount of time researching a subject before you post a question like this. Im not trying to be a jerk but, this is right up there with "What does an SVT sound like", "are tubes better than solid-state", "will this pedal make my 1x10 combo sound like a tube stack", etc. ............Yes, a pair of 410e cabs will do it. Yes, they are harder to move than an 8x10. No, a berg nv610 cab doesn't really sound like and ampeg 810e (just sort of). No, a sansamp bass driver does not sound anything like a 70's svt and neither does an ampeg svt-cl. Yes, I've had too much coffee for this time of day.

I'm thinking it would he better to have a filter where rude ass people can just skip the threads that irritate them. You coulda (and shoulda) just kept on scrolling down to something that interested you. I'm aware that my reply is completely uncalled for, but so was yours.

I asked a question unique to ampeg 410's. Not the age old 810 vs (2) 410's debate - i guess he didn't read page 1

This a common complaint I always have with TB members. It kinda reminds me of " If you don't like the show, change the channel."

Also. Fliptops do look cool.

I disagree that a CL can't sound like a 70's SVT. Crank the master up to 3:00 and use gain for the volume control, and you'll be surprised how close they can sound.

NOTE: I have a 69 SVT.

I agree that two SVT410HE cabs with the tweeters turned off will get you where you want to go.
