I've had mine in a Ford fiesta and a Vauxhall Corsa, Along with my head in flightcase, flightcase pedal board, bass in hard case, aluminum flight case with still room for a few things.

'84 and '86 Honda Accord HB's, and now in a '99 Subaru Impreza Outback. And in each case, loaded in and out by yours truly (5'4" 148 lbs) all by himself.

I believe a pickup truck and a two-wheel dolly is basic minimum equipment for any bass player. When I was young and dumb, I used to carry a 215 Peavey rig inside my '74 Gremlin, and an 18" EV cab on the roof rack.. My Ranger now easily holds my BFM O15TB, my custom 2-10/6 cab, plus the dolly..

I keep seeing comments about the Honda Fit both here and elsewhere. Maybe it's a sign to check one out. I just wish the Mini wasn't so "mini".

I got an '09 Fit Sport for the wife...and I loved it so much I just got myself a '10...absolutely incredible what it will haul...great gas mileage and fun to drive...

Don't know if anyone has mentioned the small but mighty Scion Xb, but I am able to fit my LDS 215/tweeter cab, which is about 48" with casters into it with room for my bass and shallow rack, no problem.

This, along with a few basses and one jumbo pedalboard, easily fits in a Mazdaspeed3. Plus I get to a gig really fast, and my crap doesn't get rained on or stolen at a red light.

I used to haul gear in a '62 VW panel bus. My typical load was 2 single 18" subs for the PA (10 cu ft each), SVT410HE in flight case, SVT18E in flight case, 6 space rack with my pre/power amp setup, 24 channel Allen & Heath mixer in flight case, rack full of power amps for the PA, and two basses in flight cases. I sometimes carried more.

A little late to the party, but this is an awesome thread. I sold my 8x10 long ago because I couldn't see myself transporting it by myself, but I recently joined up with a band and needed one again. Going to probably pick one up today. Just measured and it will easily fit in my 2008 Chevy HHR. With the seats folded down I can fit so much stuff in there, I love it. I often do a 4x10, Sunn 300T, 6 space rack, 2 basses, and a pair of 15" powered speakers, mixer, and microphone case.

I used to drive a 1992 Nissan Maxima which I could fit (2) Ampeg 4x10's, 2 basses, a 6 space rack, and two big merch bins with no passengers.

I can fit my 810, head, gigbag, and couple basses in my Volvo V50. That's pretty much it though. I was tried re-arranging to fit in a guitartist 212 cab, didn't fit

My V6 Silverado will carry my wife and both kids, their crap in the cab, two upright basses and an SVT in the bed. And haul tools and a trailer, if necessary. All for -20 MPG. Win.

26 x 48 x 16, measured out the car, should be no problem feeding it in and out of there. Road trip tomorrow .. whoohoo

ive had a ford taurus for years and i could fit 2 810s into the back. im glad my band got a trailer so the suspension on the car isnt continuously ruined tho lol.

That's what I never got. An Ampeg 810 weighs like 160 pounds or something, that's pretty much one person, but they seem to have so much more effect than that on car suspensions.

I've seen people saying they fit it in a Ford Focus and a Prius also. Maybe I don't need a huge vehicle. I've always liked smaller cars for fuel efficiency.

I transport my 8x10, a 6u rack and normally 2 bass guitars in hardcases in my ford focus, esriously, the car is like a tardess. Brilliant, only thing to be careful of is scraping the paint getting the cab out of the boot (obviously)
