ampeg and yamaha.

It's the truth, and while I was pretty happy with what LOUD did with them, I think I'll be even happier with Yamaha. LOUD lost interest in Ampeg R&D over the last couple years and had started coasting. Not meant to be a slam against them because they did have a very fruitful period, but for the last 3 years, the only new products have been pedals, and their micros could use a freshening up that I believe Yamaha will give them in time.

I have always been impressed with Yamaha equipment and also by the multitude of things they make. I had a Yamaha acoustic years ago and it was a nice solid good sounding guitar, so I think this sounds like a positive move for Ampeg.
