Honestly, I'd say get the VR.
I owned the VR for a while and loved it. I sold it a little while ago, and now have the B100R. I can get VERY similar tones from both (all fantastic). My B100R is really only for playing in my basement. I could possibly see myself playing acoustic gigs with it someday, but that's not my focus right now.
The VR is more portable, more expandable, more powerful, and louder (slightly), probably noticeably more so with a second cab.
I'll probably end up with both at some point. They're both VERY cool. SO, unless you love the look of the B100R more, and/or you don't plan on lugging it around much, I think the VR is the better way to go.
Also, honestly, as cool as the VR looks (and it does look SO cool), it is more of a 'novelty' kind of cool, whereas I think the B100R look more like a 'real' amp...if any of that matters...and it's all just opinion.....
