Ampeg B-100r Question

This amp has a quarter inch line out jack - can this be used as a tuner jack rather than a line out? Has anyone ever done this and would it damage the amp or tuner?

My guess is that it's a "line level" signal, and would be fine going into a tuner. But I'm not an electronics guy, so I'm not sure. Don't go by what I say.

The headphones jack would work, I'm pretty sure, but when you plug something into that you mute the speaker, and I'm guessing you don't want to do that.

I've used the line out on my B100R for a tuner, no problems.

I had a B50R. It had a quarter inch out on the rear. When I looked real close there was a tiny black sticker with an arrow that said "line out".

It was a little noisy but it sounded good to tape. I used a dummy plug to the headphone jack and could crank it to a decent level for recording.
