Double Bass ampeg ba108, using line out

Hi Guys,

In the past I've relied on a xlr di out to go to the board.
My little ba108 only has a line out and effects send.
I use this amp with a plugged in acoustic trio sans drums. It holds its own fine. I use a FDeck HPF Pre3 which allows me to dime the amp with no distortion or speaker farts.
Next weekend we'll be playing with a drummer and with backline support. I'll use the amp on a chair as a monitor and would like to use the line out feature. Do I just take a 1/4" instrument cable and plug into a channel of the board?
As well, I have the opportunity to daisy chain my ba108 into a second. Should I use the line out into the input of the second or into the effects return?
OR
Should I use the effects send into the return of the second or the input of the second amp?
Thx All
