Ampeg BA115HPT combo

Hi guys,

I just ordered the ampeg 115 combo, with 220 watts and tubes..
Does anyone have any experience with this thing? I bought it based on a friends optimistic attitude towards it. In worst case scenario I can always resell it, but I'm just curious as to what people think of it.

Lucas, FYI- it only has 1 tube, and it's in the preamp. The rest is SS.

I played thru the Ampeg BA115HPT combo recently at a small music store, I liked everything about the amp, except it didn't seem to get very loud for 200+ watts. I had the volume all the way up as high as it would go and it simply didn't sound loud enough. Now you probably are wondering what's loud enough, I mean loud enough to compete with a drummer and guitar player that are playing fairly hard - if that helps any.
