Ampeg help please

Please help me with my choice. Sorry for being a novice but I thought that you lot would be able to offer some awesome advice.

I'm going to buy an Ampeg and I've started to try different heads and cabs out. I need something for large venues and festivals.

I guess I just need advice on how loud I need to be and whether that even matters with FOH and monitors. Can I match most heads with cabs?
