Ampeg microSVT-VR?

The Micro-VR is indeed made in China. I believe the other Ampeg stuff is being made in Korea, which was a fairly recent move.
I recently bought the 210 cab and I love it.
I run a 90's ampeg v4-bh through it at 8ohms using an American P-bass with Lollar pickups. If your into warm low-mids, then the cab would be great for you.
I play it on its side with the head on top.
People complain about it have muddy lows, but I feel like most bass players today are too focused on how low they can get those frequencies, if you like classic warm 60's bass tone then go for it.

If I were to try and run the Ampeg SVT210AV w/my Ashdown ABM EVO 500 head, would I blow the thing up? Both that cab, and my head are 8ohms. The cab is only 200 watts, but my Ashdown is 575.

I ran my mesa walkabout, and markbass F1 thru two 210AV's...it was glorious.

i have a WT300, would i be good with running one for small gigs as a monitor? i don't want to lug my 810 everywhere but i love the tone, and heard the tone is similar

so, are these the same exact dimenensions of 1/4 of the SVT 810 and made of the same material and speakers?
The speakers may be the same, but its not the same dimensions or materials. An SVT weighs about 140 lbs, so 1/4 of that would be 35. These are only 27. They also are about 5 inches shallower for the depth, and a little tighter on the width.
I tried one of the Micro VRs in a shop the other day. It's nice as a practice amp or if you had a low-volume sort of gig. Do not try to compete with drums and whatnot though - at least not with the one 8-ohm cab, don't know how loud it is at 4 ohms.
