Ampeg PF-500 live setup question.

Might be a dumb question, but I haven't played my Ampeg PF-500 with the line out (XLR) yet.

When I connect the line-out with the XLR to a sound system, will I still get sound from my cab (I have 1/4 out to my cab)?

I'd like to use my cab as an on stage monitor behind me and still plug in to the PA system to utilize the subwoofers we have, etc.

The XLR output will not disable the speaker output. You should be good to go.

It's decent as far as built-in compressors on amps go. I have no use for it, though. I haven't used compression for years.
