Ampeg Rocket Bass Combos

I'd be excited to try one out when the 12's are available. Clips sounded good on the Ampeg site and it'd be nice to load a small lightweight combo for rehearsals. I always hate having to set up and tear down equipment on tight schedules, so this scratches most of my itches.

I’m pulling the trigger on the 200W RB115!!
Preordered it from MF!!
I’ve been looking at getting a new combo. Looked at Ampeg BA115- no extension out, 150 watts, and just shy of 50lbs. Looked at the Bugera BXD15A, again, close to 50lbs no ext out, and...RCA plugs for AUX in???? Really???
Also looked at the Rumble 200! Light, has the 15” Eminence speaker, AND an ext out.
I have a Rumble 40, and really like it, but wanted something a bit...different.
I think these new Ampeg will really slot in well! I think it’s a real step up from the BA series, and I’m all for the new retro look! YAY!!!

My good man. I hope you’re not confused by all of the P basses out there. All bass guitars.

Well, I'm a little confused by the two on the right sometimes, but I'm working on it. :)

It was a bit of work to find the dimensions but here they are (along with the Thomann prices)

RB-108 / 167 Euros / 433 x 411 x 306 mm (1 mm = 0.0393700787 inches)
RB-110 / 273 Euros / 481 x 411 x 330 mm
RB-112 / 442 Euros / 543 x 462 x 360 mm
RB-115 / 609 Euros / 570 x 513 x 354 mm
RB-210 / 739 Euros / 654 x 513 x 354 mm

So, comparing the W and D of the RB115 and RB210 with the PF115HE and PF210HE:
W x D Portaflex = 533 x 363 vs Rocket Bass 513 x 354 means that the RB115/210 are an almost perfect fit on top of a PF115/210HE (as an extension cab)
Regarding height, with 598 mm, the PF115/210 is about 3 cm higher than the RB-115 and about 5,5 cm lower than the RB-210

So if your question is "Can I use the PF115HE or PF210HE as an extension cab for the RB-115 or RB-210?", my answer would be yes (based on the given data)

COMPARISON:
Micro VR + SVT210AV vs RB-115:

Price: 693 Euros vs 609 Euros
Power: 200 Watt vs 200 Watt
Weight: 35,8 lbs vs 34 lbs
Overdrive: none vs SGT overdrive

The most important one in my view, the sound/tone, I can't comment on yet, obviously
But nice to know for those considering an amp for rehearsals or so
Thanks for all this research - manuals aren’t posted yet so I’m still wondering about the frequencies that correlate to the EQ knobs if you are able to find that out as well.
