Ampeg SVP-PRO Problems

I have an Ampeg SVP-PRO pre amp. I really like this unit and for fours years it has worked great, however recently I have been having problems with buzzes and hissing. I'm planning on taking it to a tech to get looked at and I was wondering if anyone has had problems with things like ribbon cables, cold soldiers, bad pots etc. I have just put in new groove tubes and have seen post about microphoning problems. I really like this unit and want to continue using it so any tips or info will be appreciated. Thanks everyone.

I had bad hum problems with mine if i didnt use the right tube in the very last position. For some reason that position is susceptable to hum alot more than the other tubes, mabe because its close to the small transformer. I found tungsols would not work in that position but worked great in the other positions. One tube that did seem ok was the electro harmonix 12ax7. I would try swapping another tube for that position and see what happens, mabe one of your old tubes.
