Ampeg SVT 450H

I'm surprised at the loathing going on for the 450. I have owned one for a long time and never had a lick of trouble with it. Nothing. Nada. Zip.

Now, the SVT-450 is pushing 450 watts @ 4 ohms. The amp has plenty of horsepower for most gigs, and when I need more, I run it direct to the sound system, which is what should be happening on large gigs anyway.

I can't speak for the 350, but I have read plenty about it having issues, which is why I decided to grab a 450 when one came up available on CL. And yes, the 450 is the re-cased B2R-e.

I have no qualm with using the 350H, 450H, B2R, B2RE. I had a 350H and still own a B2RE. I also own an SVT4 which I love but I don't cringe at all at the idea of using the B2RE. I like to describe it as "utilitarian",hehehe.

I also like the fact that they can be bought used for around $200, that's a bargain.
