Ampeg SVT 610, adding another cab?

@Jimmy: What exactly does bridging a 4Pro do? Double the possible wattage sent to the cab? Also, can this be used to overdrive the cab?
It can but overdriving the gain sounds pretty much the same as pushing your speakers past xmax. And yeah, maybe not quite doubles the wattage but close to it in most amps. But most cabs can't take much more than 600w anyway so it's not necessary unless you use a really big cab IMHO. And if you use two cabs, you'll want to run each side separately. Bridging is more for those who have stereo amps with less power. 600w should be plenty for anyone. Cliff Williams did AC/DC with two SVT's, which are 600w total. Oh sure, he's using 4 Pros now, but back in the day, that was considered huge.

I guess this cab will manage 600W... :)
Not sure if it real, was posted here on TB on an other thread.

get another 610. you get plenty more low end just by adding the second 610, and you can boost your lows a little more since you'll be pushing two cabs and the speakers dont have to work as hard. if thats too much to haul around, get an 810. i use 2 bergantino nv610s and my roommate uses 2 ampeg 610s (the ampegs are what i used to run and then i sold them to him to get an 810). another 610 will solve your problem.
