ampeg svt 7 pro cutting out

Ive had a couple successful practices without any issues. I Took out some lows from the bass, and added it back in though the amp. Im getting a solid thick tone without the peak light coming on. I suppose it was shutting down to save itself from meltdown. Since I bought it used, theres no ampeg warranty so im gonna have to make it work. I'll keep youall posted if any new issues come up.
If the "peak" light isn't on, I am not happy personally. I suppose there is such a thing as too much, but I always push into the fur with no issues.
Weird situation with my recently-acquired SVT 7 Pro Rev. C00:
Rehearsal with SVT 7 Pro through Berg NV215 -- no prob, sounds great
Two gigs with SVT 7 Pro through Berg AE212 -- no prob, sounds great
Rehearsal with SVT 7 Pro through 2xBaer ML112 -- cutting out like crazy!
Subsequent rehearsal with SVT 7 Pro through Berg NV412 -- no prob, sounds great.
Similar volume and settings on all the above. Weird, right? Has anyone else had an issue with the SVT 7 Pro only using certain cabs?

Strange. About 3-4 months ago my 7PRO/PN115 rig was cutting out and I thought oh no....
It turned out to be a loose connection in my speakon cable that one moment worked great and the next it cut out. Changed the speaker cable and the problem disappeared. I'd give the cable a look and hopefully that is all it is.
And I repaired the cable and all is well.
+1 ONLY other difference I can see there is the 112 cab us 8 ohm ?? While both Bergies are 4 ohm. 
Well, good work at problem isolation if you used the same bass, effects/signal chain, amp and speaker cable each time. Next I would play one 112. Then the other. If one has a problem, that's some wiring or issue inside it. If no problem, then replace the cable between them, assuming they are daisy chained together. So eliminate/isolate each component step my step. Could be a cold solder joint in one cab. Don't know if there are x-overs in that Baer, if so, there could be an overheating issue if the inductors don't get vented well. So if the problem is not the cables and is in one of the cabs, you have to go through it wire by wire, component by component from the - to the + till you find it.
The short answer is that there are a large number of Ampeg SVT 7 pro's out there that are faulty amps have either gone wrong or will go wrong, mine lost power then started cutting out, I had it fully checked and they found a loose component which was replaced and again fully checked and given a clean bill of health, after one rehearsal it started doing the same thing all over again, it is now in its box in my garage, their Chinese production plant is just rubbish and Ampeg are quite happy to charge high prices for amps that just do not live up to their old reputation.
With respect Dave, this is not what you should do. You paid good money for that amp and you deserve a unit that works flawlessly. I can feel for your pain and frustration, I think we all can, but Ampeg should make this right. You should persevere with them until they do.
My turn to be let down by this Amp and Loud Tech. Mine is 3 years old, had 2 year pro coverage and now dead. About 3 months ago it started cutting out, even when the power was just on. Contacted Loud gave them all the details and they said it should be covered by GC Pro cov and contact them. I did, but the 2 year ext warranty goes into effect immediately so it was a year expired. So I contact Loud again, thinking they would do something on a product with the history it has but I was wrong. They will not due sh**. Used Ampeg products all my life but never again. So I keep in my music room and fired it up last night and played real low. After about 5 minutes I hear a POP and it is DEAD.
Not going pay a dime to get repaired so as another poster said it will be in the garage in mint condition except it doesn't turn on.
Very disappointed in Loud for not standing behind something that has had so many failures. Searching for a new head now....and really regret giving up my LMIII.

That's pretty stuffed up. You'd think d with the history the 7 pro has they'd offer something for you. Ain't as tho its a new issue.

I thought so too. I replied to a email from them a few weeks ago but haven't heard back. As far as I know , there isn't even a proven fix. Just rev after rev after rev, which is why I won't spend anything on it. Wish I could trade it to a tech type guy that maybe wanted to work on it. At least I would have something from it.
