You need to replace the ice chip its a 9 prong chip.its an updated one for the protection circuit
This will solve your problem
And give you more output

AFAIK, the protection circuit has nothing to do with output power. (i also never heard of a 9 pin IC).

Sorry type o its 8 pin
I had the same issue with cutting out at higher volume.
Once i replaced the ice chip no more cutting out and it seemed to have more output then before its a 2a265 ice chip thats the updated chip and it will solve the issue.

Where did you find the circuit alterations shown?
If the older chips are not manufactured, what's in a new head made today?
