You might want to move the mid range setting to 2 or 3; you're boosting the low end, which could be adding to your problem...This is about where I had it when I last played it. Sounded good I was worried about the peak light so I added compression. View attachment 717397
I'm not quite sure I'm understanding you. Are you saying that you turn the amp off every time you have to interrupt your practice while using it? One thing that will negatively affect the tube is repeated on-off cycles; the power section is solid state, so it doesn't care. If your going to be away for less than say a half hour, mute the amp and leave it on. When I gig with mine, I turn it on when I set it up, and leave it on until the end of the last set.Hello!
I have one that I play with mostly on weekends. I practice and do another things so I turn it off every time that I have to do something else. Is that correct? Does it damage the tube or diminishes the life of the amplifier? Thanks!
