i have an svt 4pro as well, and two peavey tour neo 4x10s. i played an eden 410xlt the other day and wow! amazing cab! im thinking of selling my peavey to get an eden. im intrested in how the eden 410xlt sounds with the 4pro? lately i havent been aboe to get a great tone out of my current setup. do you run the 4pro mono bridged into the 410xlt? is that too much power to that cab or does it work well for you? also, is your cab the 4 or 8 ohm version of the eden? theres an 8 ohm eden 410xlt at a local music shop ive been thinking about getting, but im not sure how itd sound. any thoughts?...

If you haven't tried a 4Pro and two 2x10 Avatar B210Neo cabs you ain't heard nuthin'! I have played Avatar's and nothing but since I sold all my Edens and Ampeg cabs. Each 210 will handle 500 watts rms. Two 8 ohm B210's with a bridged mono 4Pro is very sweet and I am using 5 strings... zero farting... nothing but tone... and the cabs weigh about 40 pounds and cost less than $290! I also have Avatar B410's (1,000 watts rms, $400 and less than 60 pounds) and a B115 (500 watts rms, no longer sold). These Avatars are very good and very cheap. I did side by side with the Ampeg PR410HLF cabs and they killed them in tone and volume and especially in high volume tone. The Ampegs would fart out. The Avatars just pumped out tone. The Eden 410XLT was better than the Ampegs but no better than the Avatar and Eden's cost me a lot more and weighed more. What sux is you can't walk in a store and try the Avatars. You can only buy them on line but they have a trial period. I wish you could hear my rig. Two little, light, 210's and 1,200 watts and I play a club with 100+ people, a hard hitting drummer and a guitar with a 100 watt half stack... and the little bass rig sounds awesome. I used to use the two Avatar B410Neo's but it was overkill. All you need is either one 4 ohm B410 or two 8 ohm B210's. I got rid of my SVT-8 Pro and went back to my trusty old SVT-4 Pro's. The 8 Pro was too noisy for me and I really need the graphic eq to get the exact sound I want.
The 8 Pro is a little smoother and probably more similar to an all tube SVT in attack and buttery delivery, but it was just too middy sounding for me.
