Ampeg SVT III Pro (70's) - need your opinion

Need help from you, my friends.

I've found an old ampeg SVT III Pro on sale - the model from the 70's, as seen on the image below.



What do you think about the amp?

It's seller asked me to offer a price... how much should i offer, if it is in good condition?

The concept was great but I could never get good tone from mine regardless of tubes

That amp is not from the 70s, just FYI, more like 90s. Great amp in my opinion, love the preamp, a real workhorse of an amp. I'd go for it. Maybe $300 to $400.

Absolutely true. Later 90's , since it was AFTER the SVT-III (non-PRO).
