Ampeg V4B dating?

I just got this amp and don't what year it is, i know that the power switches are different from year to year so i just need to know what years they used this design if anyone knows for sure.

Looks just like mine, and I think mine is 72 or so. Can you take a picture of the company info on the back panel?

And if you wanted to know the year for sure, you'd have to take the chassis out and look at the number codes on the potentiometers (volume,bass, etc. controls). That would tell you the year the pots were made, and your amp would probably be made shortly after that.

Cosmetically that's similar to a '72 I also have.
You should also be able to date the transformers, or in the spirit of southshoreconors comment, 'date the trannies'. Some of the components including the potentiometers and the transformers should have a manufacturers code, followed by the date code, it's pretty handy info. Those control panel graphics would put it in the 71-75 range. If it says Linden NJ on the back it would be a 71, if it says magnavox it should be 72-75 and you'd have to date it by the pots/transformers.
