Amps for Vocals Only?

Outside of playing bass for my church, I also play acc/elec. I go into nursing homes and entertain. Do they make an inexpensive amp just for vocals? I use a small Peavey for vocals now and just wondered if I could improve on the sound I'm getting now.

Around here I see a lot of solo guys using a Fender Accoustisonic for an accoustic and a microphone.

Some powered monitor/speakers will have a simple, one knob preamp and an XLR for a mic.

JBL Eons work well for this purpose. They have a built-in mixer.

I have a Carvin AG1000 combo amp with 1x15" + tweeter that accepts inputs for several instruments, vocals (XLR), rca, and has decent EQ and effects built in. It sounds good (even for bass) and is still light and compact and doesn't cost a lot of dough.

The Roland Keyboard amps are great for multi-tasking. I have a small KC-60. It has 3 channels, one of which has an XLR/Mic connection. There is also an RCA stereo input as well.
