Double Bass Amps in Washington, DC area

Can anyone suggest any places in the Washington/Baltimore area where I could try some of the combos/heads/cabs that people use for double bass? GK, AI, EA, etc? I tried a Guitar Center.

This guy is a TB member and has a nice shop with lots of cool gear. He is in Alexandria VA.
Also check out Washington Music Center aka Chuck Levins. They are in Wheaton MD.

Chucks has less boutique stuff but great prices

Foxes music in Falls Church just started carrying Acoustic Image--they had a Contra III in stock last time I was there

I was there a few months ago and love all the gear in there. They have plenty of great smaller cabs and heads for DB as well as the big boys for BG's. And the owner is a really great guy who will take care of you and knows basses and gear.

Nothing's better than going to Guitar Center to talk to a g****r player salesman about bass cabinets... (sarcasim)
