So I meant if he played the Exploiter with minimal electronics vs the series electronics in these videos
These are great clips, I've never heard the isolated tracks before this!
The Real Me was such an inspiration when I started playing bass, but the big surprise is how heavily gated Keith Moon's drums are.
They must have been outrageous in the room!
At the same time Keith's parts have this swagger and even when frenetic there's a certain spaciousness...

As far as I know he only played Series instruments, the Spyders are like Signature models: More "affordable" option for fans
What you hear as gating was not part of the original recording process, but is a byproduct of the computer program used to extract the isolated tracks.

Can I also say that even on my lowly Epic, it's the easiest instrument in the world to set up with the right tools. I am amazed at how good a 27 year old bass is.
No such thing as "lowly" Alembics, they are all made with the same highest standards
