An issue with Rickenbacker

Howdy folks! I just received a reply on Instagram that Rickenbacker replied to a comment I made on their recent post about the latest skunk stripe basses for 2022. I made a comment pertaining to how I was a bit sad that they would be removing the lacquered fretboards from their basses/guitars. When I went to view the reply, it said that the user doesn’t exist, I think Rickenbacker blocked me!

Par for the course, I once said I wished they reissued the 'bound' v64s from the 90s even if they weren't 'period correct' literally banned me into oblivion ...

-Forged by Sauron's ghouls at the Crack of Doom?
-My love, who meets me at the dark end of the street?
-The forbidden fruit, even?

Yes, all of that, and the Hammer of the (you know whats) to those who are Called.

well Im freshly restricted on FB and the Rickenbacker Bass page for asking to change the Kermit the frog inlay bass as the wall paper. I got called a boomer lol I called the guy a Zoomer, I guess the guy couldnt take it and reported me. why is that bass a gen Z thing? Im sure there are older people that might like it.

There's a plank on TDPRI randomly calling members 'Boomers' without having a fkn clue who they are. Seems to be a little social media grenade to see if anyone gets triggered.

what is a Kermit the frog inlay bass?
this.

Looks like something from AliExpress/DHGate
I think so too, having 2 treb pickups that close together makes no sense, it looks like it was tossed tgt out of parts and just trying to look ugly lol but apparently if you dont like it youre a BOOMER! I guess its down to if you disagree with Gen Z your an old has been that need to just die. Its just my opinion which doesn't matter cause Im not spending $4000 on any Rickenbacker bass much less that abortion. I dont understand how they sell them for that much and justify it, it looks like a 4003w with a goofy lil guitar shaped pg and an extra treble pickup and some green plastic inlays. Surely that cant make the bass $2000 more than a 4003w lol

You want to check out UK prices. The s/h ones are as scary as the new ones.

These instruments are, to me, no worth the UK money.

Ive seen some new basses with knots in the wood and mismatched headstock wings with one side lighter. These would have probably been shot Jetglo 5 years ago. I hope this isnt a sign of what will be coming out of the factory. Just filling orders because they know they have a following that will put up with it.
