I actually bought this last week but never got around to posting it. I got this from a member here on TB. (this pic is the venders).

It has flatwounds on it now and I'm not a flats guy. It does need a set up for my taste. But it sure is a beautiful bass I love that color. drool

That is sharp! Hey, you tryin' to "bring back the P bass" or something? :woot::roflmao::bassist:

The bizarre part of all this..... years ago you couldn't give me a Fender.

I was mostly a ric or (get ready fer this) Aria Pro II 5 string basses or anything but a Fender. In the past 2 months now I've bought a Jazz and now this Precision. Both are MIM Fenders. (so are they real Fenders?)

And last year my lady bought me a 4003s for our anniversary. I'm not going to tell her that the 4003 I got just don't do it for me. (I'll probably have to run and hide now :help::rage:)

This was the Jazz when I got it.

Now it looks like this. I have posted these pics before.

I am thinking (And that hurts:rollno:) of putting the ashtray covers on the Precision too.
I know ppl don't really care for them but I think they look sharp. But hey...It's my bass right?. And they didn't bother my playing on the Jaz so why not?
