What do you guys think about anchoring your thumb on ONE string lower and TWO strings lower? I'm experimenting them both and one string lower seems like more agile while playing on one string only but when you want to go lower it kinda blocks you a bit on the way. I initially learned that two strings lower was the common/standard one-whatever you name it-, and that you should mute the next lower string with your non-plucking finger while alternating. I also noticed that raking is easier while anchoring on one string lower. And the tone slightly changes because when your thumb's on one string lower, the plucking angle is closer to 90 degrees on the other position is more like 45 degrees. Anyway i want to know what you think
