The Squier knobs fit, but the new pot shafts were longer so it's not a great fit. Same diameter or very close IIRC.
Pop an extra nut or washer on, before you thread it through the pickguard, to get it lower.

I'm doing it constantly,Great idea..... duh.
Happy new year btw everybody.
i love you guys! at first i thought this was just gonna be a thread where i got bashed for every decision i made on this thing and im finally feeling the love..so while i have like minded individuals here i want opinions on my neck dilemma.
i want maple because i like maple necks, but rosewood wouldnt be out of the question if it had blocks soooo
a)Maple board with Black dots
b)Maple white pearl blocks & creme binding
c)Rosewood board with Pearl blocks and binding
all options would be vintage tint
dosent hurt that its gonna come in a sexy sonic blue packaging and cost me less than a grand.
its gonna take 2-5 weeks for my Original Precision Pickups to ship and its killing me, i really want to get the "sound" side of this package in playing order.
Rama . just clicked your sig because it came from stickk so i was curious and not only do you like high action but youre a Stax Soul man as well. i fear you may be my long lost brother!!!

I make my pickguards stand out, my groove machine has a mirror guard, even if the finish is a common colour!First off, I searched my butt of to find a non standard P bass, even red basses are too standard and when the 60s Classic Vibe P arrived I knew it was meant for me.![]()
I really get sentimental because of this!![]()

Brothers in action, you two..........![]()
I'm doing it constantly,
I'm all about maple myself, but...... if you can find a rosewood and pearl block one, I'd call it a huge win.*
Either that or a maple with black dots, but I'll admit, I don't like maple/pearl blocks, the blocks don't stand out enough, IMHO. Maybe with the vintage tint, I've not really seen the vintage maple/pearl combo.
*EDIT: Double win, if you think you can do a matching headstock.![]()
he can do a rubix cube in 14 seconds with one hand and i can punch the first person who laughs at him in the throat. its like the movie Twins. hes clever im violent
if Stupidhead Jordan wouldnt have sold his rw blocked board totally would have snagged his..i was so miffed when i came across the fact that he was selling one and it had JUST sold.
edit: maybe it was quadzilla...if so sorry jordan (who im sure will lurk by here soon) youre not a stupidhead.
I *just* missed a swanky blue/maple Peavy Cirrus, one time.
come to think of it it was Quad. i hate the classifieds. everything you click is always sold. there should be an efficent way to clean it all out to see whats still available id much rather buy off a tber
