Hmm I also changed the tuners to the reversed geared tuners (they are at my luthier now).
I love how those clovers stick out a bit more.
I don't know how or why, but my bass keeps getting small dents and scratches, I love it.
@ My Idol, I just scratched my name (with a X-Acto knife) on the neckplate to give it a more personal touch.
Sounds perfect, but have it wrote in kindof hand script, if possible.
250 are slightly darker than 500, just noticeably.
Have you a specific tone in mind?
I usually use 500's, but I recently put 250's in a fretless I spent months trying to get a woody thumpy, uprighty tone, turns out them pots were the missing link to all the other mods I done.
