And Recomendations on a distorion

I need a distortion and i don't have time to do my own research, so if anyone would be so kind as to recomend one or several.

I like the distortions of Dug Pinnick(King's X),Billy Gould(Faith No More), and Monty Colvin(galatic cowboys)

also noted I'm not made of $

any help would be greatly appreciated

if you have time to post you have time to do research, otherwise you may as well buy something on a whim and waste your money. you wont get any positive responses from a thread like this, so you may as well do some research

i can think of 3 or so threads in the first page or two of this forum, try looking.

I know exactly the perfect distortion that he'd love and that would get all of the awesome sounds he wants and totally fits his budget, but I'm not going to bother writing it, since if he doesn't have time to research, he probably won't have time to read my response. Oh well.

I wish I'd just asked the same question as the original poster a few weeks ago. Instead I searched the forums, but in return got some serious GAS and bought way too many pedals as a result.
