Andy Metcalfe playing on my latest, "Bop."

Andy Metcalfe is seen here playing bass in my latest video, for a song called "Bop." In the vid, he's seen with his Martin acoustic bass, but for the recording I'm sure he used either his P Bass or his Stingray.

He, along with Colin Moulding of XTC, has been a bass hero since I first heard him with Robyn Hitchcock and the Egyptians. I know there are other AM fans on this forum, so I thought it'd be fine enough to post my track. Andy's all over my latest album - it's the first time we've worked together in about ten years - I'm thrilled to have reconnected.

Thanks for your time and hope you enjoy the vid and Andy's "acoustic" rocking!

Hi Anton, sounds great as always and Andy's playing is fantastic!
I played upright with you on some gigs in the '00s when you lived in Sacramento.
Crappy pic below from the venue that I believe inspired Grapes on a Plate - good ol' Delta of Venus in Davis.

You're in Europe these days? I take it you're mature and financially solvent? :roflmao:
Hope all is well, I regularly have songs of yours stuck in my noggin!

Hey Winston - serious blast from the past! Hope you're well. I moved back from Berlin when the pandemic hit and ended up looking after my dad when he got ill. Living on my wife's family farm in Auburn now! Once we sell dad's house I'll probably drift back to Berlin, where I still have a residence permit, but otherwise I'm back in Cal.
