Anime junkies!

I've been getting into Kekkaishi a bit, but I still have no idea what's going on in it. Lol.
I do like the whole "Kets!: thing.
Currently watching demonbane and excel saga. Always up for some hellsing or outlaw star. I prefer to watch things dubbed with subtitles on so as to compare the two
I can't stand dubs. The English voice acting is usually atrocious. Not to say that some of the Japanese voices are any better, but at least I can read the words and just imply vocal inflections where I think they should go. 
I recently got through Gundam 00. What a fantastic series. Definitely the best of the Gundam series. I have Chrono Crusade next up on the block, which looks pretty interesting, too.

I used to be really in to G Gundam, but I can't say I've seen Gundam 00.
that said, I miss Lupin the III.

I've got to say that my favorite series is Clannad. Clannad After Story is incredibly moving and seriously the ONLY visual media that has brought me to tears! ( I'm a guy and do not consider myself effeminate.) great story.
some of the more strange anime I have watched are: FLCL and Dead Leaves.
I like some dub, Death Note had good ones, but tend to choose subs more often now.

I've only seen a bit of Clannad, but I really enjoyed it an will definitely have to check into it again. FLCL is one of my all time favs ( Don't you love haruko's Ric?!) and I've heard about Dead Leaves, but I don't know what it's really about.
What's the plot/story?
As far as the sub vs dub goes, I could go either way. There are some anime's I like subbed and some I like dubbed.

The only way you could "understand" Dead Leaves is by witnessing the madness yourself.
its got a character with a huge drill as a male reproductive organ... 'nuff said.

You guys should check out a two part movie called Karas. It was pretty awsome. For comedy maybe not too anime but Shin Chan always had me laughing. Id rather not make a list since you guys already have most of what I've seen in your but im going to get into your suggestions as well lol alot of em
yeah... difficult to erase from ones memory...
I'll look into Karas, I like movies! I believe I have seen all of Hayao Miyazaki's films and pretty much enjoyed all of them!
Summer Wars and Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo are also pretty cool movies.

the only anime I've ever "stopped" watching is Great Teacher Onizuka... idk why I couldn't get into it...
Dunno how I missed this thread! I've been into anime since before I even knew it was anime. I'm pretty sure it's something that'll stick with me for as long as I live too, even if I do hide it from most of my friends, lol!
I couldn't pick a favorite with a gun to my head but here are some that I really dig:

Code Geass
NHK ni Youkoso
Air Master
Tetsuwan Birdy: Decode
I tried to mention ones that I haven't seen posted already. I have this huge running list of series I've seen and series that I want to watch and it gets bigger every season! The only anime I don't seem to get along with are magical girl stuff (with the exception of Sailor Moon, lol) and the psychological dramas like Chaos:Head and Paranoia Agent. Pretty much everything else I'll watch... and I do mean everything, lol. Really digging this season actually but I'm also in the middle of watching Mai-Hime which I like a lot so far. Eventually I'll get around to playing some covers of anime tunes

The first anime I ever watched was Naruto :scowl:
at the time I though it was cool. anyway, its because of that show that I discovered the Japanland band Asian Kung-fu Generation and my addiction began... I have all their albums now and have gotten into other J-bands as well. and I love playing the bass lines to their songs!
