Anime junkies!

Shows:

Hellsing
Cowboy Bebop
Trigun
Fullmetal Alchemist (and brotherhood)
Ghost In The Shell stand alone complex
Gunslinger Girl
Rurouni Kenshin
Gunsmith Cats (wish they had made more of these. Fantastic manga)
A few more I can't remember right now

Movies:
Akira
Ghost in the Shell
Cowboy Bebop
Spirited Away
Howl's Moving Castle
Blood The Last Vampire
Princess Mononoke
Dead Leaves
Black Magic M-66

I'm no Anime nerd,...but I really enjoyed Gunslinger Girl and Full Metal Alchemist. I've gotta watch Fooly Cooly still but I really want to.

I liked Gunslinger Girl's Intro theme in the 1st season. I downloaded the entire Delgado's Discog.

I haven't seen all of Cowboy Bebop. Probably should. Love The Seatbelts (the band that did Tank) too.

In my Netflix Queue I have:
Mushi-Shi
Dead Leaves
Last Exile

That I gotta watch.

Also,...Hi Mikaela. ;) Sorry if I botched the spelling.

I'm a big fan of the Ghost in the Shell franchise. I loved both the "main" movies, wasn't hugely fussed on the first stand alone complex, but after watching it, loved S.A.C. 2nd GIG and Solid State Society.

Can I just say....anyone who has watched Grave of the Fireflies and didn't feel a bit moved....you have no soul.

She's one of my more favorite Anime characters and I can't wait for the K-On! movie.

I am waiting for that movie myself. I am wondering what will be the story they are going to use. I am hoping it won't be a retelling of the series.

It would be nice if they do a continuation, with the original characters in college and Asuza and Ui heading to college. Maybe Sawako performing with her old band again.

Don't want to go too much into the series for those that haven't seen it yet.

I have not seen Iria, but I too dislike the Stand Alone Complex series. The movies were sweet, but the series is almost all drone-like dialog. Boring and hard to follow. That's my opinion, of course.

its a prequal to a live action japanese movie called "zeiram" it has some cool stuff going on, but its not great.. i own it for nostalgia purposes more than anything

Enjoy K-ON! (have the first translated manga and watched the online subbed episodes) but it's not a favorite, not compared to Tekkaman Blade, Samurai Troopers, Guyver...If I had to list all the anime I have enjoyed over the years, the list would take up most of a page on this forum, if not more!

I haven't regularly watched Anime in quite a while, but I'll list a few I used to really enjoy.

GunXSword
Evangelion
Akira
Desert Punk
BECK (Mongolian Chop Squad)
Cowboy Bebop
Trigun
Bleach

I pretty much watched all subbed stuff.. it is rare I would find a dubbed anime that I enjoyed (especially after watched the subbed version already).

Maybe they'll accomplish their goal they set in High School? That would be nice to see. Azuza would probably end up going to the same place as the rest of the band.

K-On! is one of my favorite Slice of Life manga's but I like Kimi No Iru Machi and Suzuka a lot more. I also tend to watch all my Anime subbed, I have never ever liked dubbed Anime, it just doesn't sound right to me, also some of the translations are off...

Blue Gender is definitely very good, thanks Edward/Mikaela! :p

No prob. There's also another anime called, "Perfect Blue" that is way messed up, but has a really good story line. About an actress who takes on some really messed up parts and ends up getting a stalker.
And though people named most of these if not all, a few more I like came to mind:
(In no particular order)
Clannad,
Hellsing,
Vampire Hunter D,
Big O,
Trigun,
Outlaw Star,
Chobits,
Fruits Basket,
Love Hina.

Oh, and about FMA vs. FMA: Brotherhood, I think that they're both equally good, but they both have their drawbacks. Like, Brotherhood goes more in depth in the story line, follows the manga closer, and has more action, but I'm not a big fan of some of the voice actors/actresses on Brotherhood and FMA is great, but it doesn't explain a lot of stuff and can be a little hard to follow.

You haven't heard bad dubbing till you've heard italian dubbing  Edward's voice is dubbed by a female voice actor and it just sounds ridiculous :hmm:
