another bee stinger thread

it's been a while since my last update, but i finally got one...should be finished in three weeks...the finish is getting put on next week and i should be getting some scoopage on the graphite neck as soon as fred hears from gerry at graphite guitar systems...i'm supposedly getting some pictures today...

got an update and some pics...the neck has been molded and is getting a fretboard over the next week...i guess after returning from namm, fred was able to get started

the other pics are in the owner's club thread so they're a little more visible...i know how you guys tend to stay away from threads actually started by me

fred said that things are going along great and i should have some more pics soon...he asked about the placement of the MM pickup, so i'm assuming maybe he's gotten some routing and shaping done...the neck should've gotten finished last week and he's going to check with gerry on monday for an update...fred is expecting it next week...i'm down to about two weeks left for completion

fred asked me, and i haven't, so i'll throw it out here...anyone ever seen a carbon fiber neck with a birdseye maple fingerboard?

Ask him to cut out a larger hole for the truss rod opening. That was something I had to have done after I got it. It's not big enough for the allen wrench that fits in there....
