I have seen the stuff on dogs, had the stuff on dogs, not a fan. There is a real crime out there involving Ketchup that no one is speaking of. When I was younger my family had a friend that lived near Bear Mtn, NY. The way they served scrambled eggs was truly a crime in itself. Scrambled eggs, cheese, AND Ketchup. GROSS!!!!

can't do it. i can eat a dog a lot of different ways (have had most of the versions in the thread) but not with ketchup! i have nothing against the stuff and use it often for some things/dishes.

If I’m feelin fancy then maybe chili too, but it HAS to be Cincinnati-style from Skyline Chili.

that's funny! you're from texas (real chili) and you like skyline (not chili! but tastes good). i have some cincinnati friends who have never tasted a version of real chili...thinking that skyline style is the benchmark.

Here in Panama, hotdogs are eaten for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, in a sweet pineapple, tomato sauce.
We are the true, albeit most southerly North Americans.

Every once i a while, I get a perverse craving for a Skyline 3-way, but that so-called chili doesn't work in their coneys, IMO.

You haven't lived till you try it on a dog, not a huge amount like the photo. I use mayo on fries mixed with either mustard or ketchup. All of this thanks to the scrambled egg and ketchup eaters. lol

As the even-handed person I fancy myself to be, I generally alternate between mustard and ketchup on hot dogs. I probably lean more to mustard, and always go that way with kraut.
