Another Fender Jaguar Issue

:confused:So I finally got around to doing the shielding fix on my 2006 Jag. It worked just as everyone said it would, but apparently there is another problem that I attributed to the poor shielding. When you bump the bass (especially by the battery cavity) the bass crackles like something is loose. I found another thread that said they fixed a similar problem with the Jag by putting double back on top of the battery so the battery had better contact.

I tried this but it didn't work. The crackling occurs whether a battery is installed or not so I didn't think that was the problem anyway. I was wondering if any other Jaguar owners have had this problem. It is either something with the battery cavity or the volume cavity (I am leaning more toward this).

I thought I would post this because it seems we Jag owners experience some of the same issues (especially on the older ones). Any advice would help.
