Very good deal IMO.
That's a fairly early example given the headstock, probably has "Neptune NJ" neck plate. Likely a plywood body, nice slim neck, Schaller hardware albeit with no logos.
If the truss rod works, I'd buy it in a heartbeat, no questions asked.
