Another NBD Post

Saturday I decided I really needed a change, so I went to an awesome Guitar store in McKinney, Texas, named Guitar Sanctuary. You don't go there looking for a Squier.
I traded my 2007 Am J, which I haven't played in years, and came home with this:

Beautiful!

And looking at the website of that store, all I can say is "wow". Definitely a high end shop. Never seen anything like it.

lookin' good, @Gravedigger Dav! it's a beauty for sure --- tell me that it's a great player, too --- i know it is! --- congratulations on another new instrument!
It does play well. The 35" scale takes some getting used to. The first thing I did was replace the battery and put on a new set of DR Pure Blues. The sound palette is amazing. The toggle switch is interesting. It relates only to the bridge pickup. Toward the neck it uses only the front coil, middle is both coils, and back is back coil. It is interesting how much that changes the tone.

i didn't realize the scale --- i can see where that might require some adjustment. that coil switch is cool! sounds like it takes the bridge pickup experience to a whole different level of thinking/use. very nice.
