Another "Should I..." thread

Ok, here goes again:

I have a Takamine EG512C acoustic bassin amber quilted maple, and i love how it sounds. However I've found it a little hard to use other then just around the house. Recently my friend who works at a music store said they have a Cort Elrick RB5 that has been sitting on the wall for a long time. I played it and its amazing, but i'd have to sell my acoustic to afford it..

So the question, members of talkbass: What would you do? Sell the acoustic to get a great 5-string, or stay with the 4-string acoustic?

Thanks

Will the Cort be used other than just around the house? If so, the I would say it's more useful to have the Cort over the Takamine, but I doubt you need either of the basses. Since neither are a necessity, it's all a preference to which situation you want. An acoustic to fiddle around the house with or bass to fiddle around the house with and maybe play out with.
