I’d just buy the hipshot lollie’s instead of grinding. I’ve used them on a 66 replica before... nice tuners.

Seriously, if you aren't already, you should be in the parts bass business. You really do have an eye for what makes a good looking bass. And I imagine they sound and play great too.
